The contagiousness of the omicron variant, intensely increasing national case numbers, and predictions for a significant post-holiday surge necessitate closely monitoring trends and implementing safety precautions to protect the Universal community. Considering this information, Synchronous virtual learning will begin after Winter Break and continue through Friday, January 14, 2022. On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in-person learning will resume following the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. While we anticipate the building closures through January 18, 2022, Universal will continuously monitor local transmission data, risk levels, and CDC and State guidance to confirm the precise timing of re-opening. Please contact your principal with questions and concerns.
