Howard hits grand moment for Audenried

Good things come in three.

Universal Audenried senior Aniyah Howard became the third active player at her school to reach the 1,000-point milestone in girls high school basketball this season.

Howard scored her 1,000th point on Feb. 13 in a 17-point effort during an 89-32 victory over William L. Sayre High School in the Public League playoffs. She joined juniors Shayla Smith and Senaya Parker in the exclusive 1,000-point club. The Rockets were 18-5 through Feb. 13.
