Heritage Month

On Friday, October 14th, the Universal Creighton Scholars commemorated the month with traditional music, art, poetry, dance and cultural Latino attire. The students of Universal Creighton performed several musical and dance performances recognizing the rich contributions and the important presence of Hispanic in Caribbean, South America, Central America & Latin America.

During National Hispanic Heritage Month, from September 15 – October 15, the U.S. government celebrates the countless contributions of more than 60 million Hispanic Americans, Latinos, Latinas, and Latinx-identifying people to our culture and society.

Hats off to Principal Wendy Baldwin, scholars of Creighton, the fine staff and Music Teacher, Mr. Joel Kutner, who did an exceptional job preparing, directing and leading the scholars during the assembly.
